Project Description
Mission Africa’s African Health Advocacy Project (AHAP) aims to increase prevention and detection of COVID-19 by addressing misinformation and promoting services among K-12 children and caregivers of African communities in the Puget Sound region.
As a part of the project, more than 20 local community-based organizations that serve African communities in the Puget Sound region are working with their communities to promote COVID-19 vaccination, testing, and awareness.
The data gathered through household surveys will help determine the efficacy of the outreach campaign.
