Project Description

In 2015, the Ho-Chunk Nation contracted with Big Water Consulting to assist the Nation in designing, implementing and analyzing the data produced from a comprehensive Census of all adult Ho-Chunk Nation members. The purpose of the Ho-Chunk Nation 2015 Census was to collect population, demographic and needs-related information about the Nation’s members and their families. This data will allow the Nation to better refine and properly fund the programs that provide essential services to its members, conduct strategic planning and obtain additional funding through need-based and other grant programs based on the specific needs identified via this survey data.
